Meet Our Teachers
Elise Mark
At Creative Becoming, our teachers are more than music instructors—they're creative guides. We meet students where they are, celebrate what makes them unique, and help them build both musical skills and confidence through joyful, personalized lessons.
Founder & Creative Director
Elise is the founder and director of Creative Becoming and has spent more than 15 years helping young musicians discover confidence, creativity, and joy through music. A professional soprano, voice actor, podcaster, and teaching artist, she believes music lessons should be a place where students feel safe to explore, express themselves, and grow into themselves as artists and people.
When she's not teaching or building community, you'll likely find her swimming, playing tennis, practicing yoga, or spending time with her cat Gary and husky Lana.
Baylor Odabashian
Piano, Guitar, Voice, Ukulele & Songwriting
Baylor is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and educator who has been teaching music for more than 16 years. He works with students of all ages and backgrounds, helping each one develop strong musical skills while discovering their own creative voice through curiosity, play, and exploration.
Whether a student dreams of playing classical piano, writing original songs, producing recordings, or simply making music they love, Baylor creates a warm, judgment-free environment where every lesson is tailored to the individual. His teaching blends imagination with clear musical foundations, helping students build confidence one small step at a time.
Outside the studio, Baylor writes original music, collects historical trivia, enthusiastically dances badly, and considers himself a friend to most dogs and an ally of all cats.
